Berlin tech-house label Get Physical announced they’re close to selling out their upcoming 2014 compilation series this week, which provides 1,000 followers with up to 16 full compilations of tunes, for an annual fee of 60EUR.

The upcoming series includes another Body Language collection in April 2014 following on from their latest “Azari & III Presents – Body Language Vol. 13″ which came out several weeks ago featuring two mixes by Dinamo Azari and Alixander III.

Speaking about the mix Alixander III said he was inspired by cassette mixes his cousins in Detroit recorded for him in the early 90s and said he’d tried to replicate their ‘deep dark technoid excursions punctuated by the occasional moment of cathartic departure.’

“I began the process by listening back to my old Maxwell’s and reminding myself what was so engulfing about them. At some point during these listening’s I must have shed a tear, of sentiment, joy, loss and the passage of time. Guarded memories and forgotten greatness from an era that forged who I would soon become,” he reminisced.

“Fast forward to present day and I’m still swimming in that sea of unhinged emotion, random connections, odd beauty and dark love that has fueled and sustained me ever since.”

Ironically, Azari & 111 have split up since finishing Body Language prompting a similarly loquacious message from Alexander delivered via the band’s Facebook page.

“Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, the art project known as AZARI & III has done its work, run its course and is, for all intents and purposes, a momentary blip in time, now forever imprinted on the Universe,” he announced in mid November.

“Our recent EP entitled “Extinction Event” was just that, an extinguishing of the flame and a bird into the fire of blissful, eternal oblivion. It was heaven, it was hell, and I wouldn’t take it back if I could. Now comes the Aeon of the Phoenix, which rises from the flames impervious. Long live the new flesh.”
