“Stick with your friends, don’t walk home alone or with someone you don’t trust’.
Britain’s Foreign Office teams up with authorities in San Antonio, Ibiza, to launch a poster campaign urging revellers to avoid becoming isolated from the pack.
“We suggest trying to walk alone through San Antonio or Playa d’en Bossa every morning at around 5am, being noticeably drunk and taking the phone out of the pocket from time to time. Chances are high you’ll be mugged within a week of such walks.” (Ibiza-Voice)
Prompting Ibiza-Voice to declare that ‘ruthless criminals, attracted to lonely and vulnerable victims’ are indeed stalking Ibiza’s after-hours streets looking for prey.
