Canberra Clubs Face Fatal Late Night Fees

Australian newspaper the Age complains about new proposed legislation to massively jack up late night licences for nightclubs in Canberra, claiming they pose an existential threat to the city’s entire nightlife (with the exception of another new ‘proposed casino’ which could be exempt from the huge new taxes).
